What a funny couple! I don't think I've ever laughed so much at a wedding. These two were all about having fun, making jokes and enjoying their wedding to the fullest. The location was personal for them, since it was set in their hometown of Miami Lakes. It was gorgeous and the decor was so well thought out and original. It was truly a pleasure to photograph this couple's wedding and their cute puppy too! Congratulations!

Plantation Reserve Wedding

I had never heard of this venue, but I must say, it is beautiful. I really liked it because you feel like you're not in South Florida. The golf course is a beautiful setting for a ceremony, but the building itself felt very old America, like something you would find in maybe North Carolina, but not Florida. It made for a gorgeous wedding venue for these two

Boat Wedding

I have done other events on boats, but this was my first actual boat wedding. It was amazing! We had our bumps in the road (or sea?) but we worked around them and made it happen. The bride & groom were such troopers and enjoyed their wedding to the fullest! I had a blast as well :)

Beautiful wedding on a windy day by the ocean. They got married in front of the ocean on an elevated patio area which gave the ceremony the perfect private feel, yet with an amazing view. Believe it or not the cave shots were done at the pool!

The Palms Hotel

This amazing couple was originally living in South Florida, then moved to New York, so naturally they missed South Florida so much they just had to have their wedding here! And what better place to impress their fellow snow bird friends than the beach. Flip Flops were mandatory at this ceremony, and with good reason! After saying their I Dos while basking in the sun, they had a super fun reception indoors (with A.C. of course :) ) and included an "hora loca", which basically translates to - Crazy hour.  It was a lot of fun! Below you'll also find a couple of other crazy awesome weddings which I haven't had time to post, but deserve to be in the spotlight too!

Texas De Brazil Wedding

A wedding made for a meat lover's dreams.

Jacaranda Country Club & Golf Club

What a sweet fall wedding this was! Pumpkins and all :)

Doubletree by Hilton Ocean Point Resort

A classic but beautiful wedding at this gorgeous resort. The wed with the ocean as their backdrop peaking through the window covered walls.

So many weddings, so little time

So 2013 has been a busy, busy, BUSY time for me! I have had weddings back to back, and when I had time off, I got out of town to get some vacation time. I have had so many beautiful weddings and amazing clients. I'll share some images from my weddings I haven't blogged now.

Wedding at Melani Gardens Mansion in Homestead.

Melani Gardens is a beautiful mansion in Homestead, Florida, with a huge garden and a pool with fountains and lights. It makes an amazing setting for an evening wedding. The sun stayed out just for the ceremony and it set right in time to set the mood for the reception. The happy bride, groom and their guests had the mansion all to themselves, giving them an intimate yet regal wedding. It was amazing!

Ceremony in St. Edwards Catholic Church and Reception in Floridian Ballrooms in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

This time my bride and groom choose a traditional way to be wed, with a beautiful ceremony in a gorgeous church, followed by a great party in the Floridian Ballrooms in Pembroke Pines, complete with bagpipes! I had so much fun working with you guys and your family! Congrats to you too again :)

Anne Kolb Nature Center

This wedding took place in a lovely natural park in Hollywood, which is very hard to find these days! It is a true Florida park and had a lot of fun shooting the fun bride and groom by the groves and had even more fun at the awesome reception.

Embassy Suites in West Palm Beach

What a sweet couple! I had the pleasure of not only shooting their wedding, but also a Trash the dress due to the limited time and locations on the day of the wedding, and had so much fun at both shoots! It was a breeze to shoot with this wonderful bride and groom and hope the best for the two love birds :)

The Palms Hotel

One of my favorite weddings to shoot are destination weddings, even if it's in my own town! It's so nice to see how much a couple enjoys all the wonderful things South Florida has to offer (which most of us locals take for granted!). They came all the way from Chicago to get married in Miami at the Palms Resort, which is a beautiful hotel with an amazing ballroom which lets in all the Florida sunshine :). A lot of fun as this brunch wedding, the couple sure did know how to party!

St. Mary Armenian Church

I loved the colors at this wedding! I'm a sucker for reds, so I'm a bit biased :). This bride and groom sure did their research on decor and made everything come together beautifully; from my gorgeous bride's red lipstick to the amazing red up lighting and bouquets. This wedding was a lot of fun for me to capture since there were so many well thought out details. The reception was also a blast! The drumming was something I'm not used to at weddings, but it was amazing and sure did give extra life to the party!

Miami Beach Botanical Garden

This was another wedding I loved extra, because of the amazing and fun couple, and also the amazing rustic decoration and soft colors. It was a bit of vintage, rustic and just looked like love :) We got some amazing shots at the beautiful Miami Beach Botanical Garden.

Wow! It's been a while. I want to apologize for not posting lately, wedding season was upon me and now has gone to rest until the fall :). I will be blogging everyone's wedding even if I have to post them a couple months after. I've had so much fun shooting so many beautiful weddings and have finally come to a point where I am finishing editing most of them. I also had a couple of other photo opportunities which had nothing to do with weddings or even work that were quite fun as well! As a Miami Heat fan I couldn't help going crazy at the Parade. I also took a trip to Cancun where I took some shots of the amazing Mayan Ruins and Mexican wild life. I will have a small break until the fall begins and in the mean time will be offering more portrait sessions. Also, I know I may not have gotten around to everyone but if you have had your anniversary in the past year, you receive a 10% off coupon for any photography service within the next year (from your anniversary date). I will be posting m

My latest wedding took place in a huge beautiful club house in Coral Springs, FL. This place was amazing and looked like a resort! Even more beautiful were the details of the Persian wedding. This was my first Persian wedding and it was a very nice experience. The ceremony took place while the sun was setting in the background which made the perfect scene for a wedding. Congrats to the beautiful couple!

This month I had the pleasure of shooting Margaret and Zachary's wedding in Fort Lauderdale. The ceremony took place at the beautiful and unique Rio Vista Community Church which had an amazing ceiling with wooden beams. The reception followed at the Fort Lauderdale Yacht Club where the bride's grandfather had been involved with and his memory is everywhere throughout. I loved how the location tied to her family history and it was also a very beautiful space with a nautical and rustic theme. It was a great atmosphere and had a great time shooting this wedding!
