About the Photographer

Marietta was born and raised in South Florida. She always had a talent for all that is creative, and attended New World School of the Arts High School where she developed her artistic and photography skills further. She went on to Florida International University for 2 years where she also studied photography before moving to Los Angeles, CA. She transferred to California State University of Los Angeles where she got a degree in Television/Film. Marietta also attended Art Center at Night for film in 2005 in Pasadena, CA.

ML Marthinsen Photography offers more than just a regular photography session. Having been an artist her entire life, Marietta has a vision for art beyond most photographers which she incorporates into her shoots. Studying photography and film in school has also helped her learn techniques which are so important in photography. Traveling across country and abroad has also given Marietta the advantage of expanding her experiences and artistic knowledge in a unique way.
